STEWART, Cathy D. (Higgins) - Age 73, of Flint, died Monday, October 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be held 1 PM Saturday until the time of the service.
Cathy was born May 7, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Ruth (Brevard) and William Higgins. She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1964. She loved sports, crafts, and volunteering.
Surviving are: daughter, Rebekkah Stewart; special granddaughters, Ashlie and Autumn Stewart; great granddaughters, Aiuana and Khamyah. She also leaves 2 sons, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters in Michigan and New York; special family, the Jordan's; several nieces, nephews, and good friends.
She was preceded in death by loving parents; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and best friend, Keith Stewart. Special thanks to McLaren ER and 5th floor ICU, especially nurses, Joe, Christina, and Amy. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
