VALLEY, Dennis L. - Of Goodrich, age 71, died Thursday, May 11, 2017
at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Monday and 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dennis was born in Flint on October 6, 1945, the son of the late Francis and Helen (Groh) Valley. Dennis grew up in Flint and lived in Goodrich the past 40 years. On May 6, 1972, he married MaryAnn Asaro. Dennis worked for GM for 31 years and owned Valley Income Tax Service. In his spare time, he enjoyed his family and camping.
Surviving are wife, MaryAnn;
sons, Chad (Mandy) and Jeff;
grandchildren, Gavin and Isaac and their mother Marnee, Ryan, Nicholas and Dustin;
daughter, Melinda;
sister, Eileen;
many nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
