Scotton, Lewis Stoor of Fenton, age 91, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home. Cremation has taken place.
Lewis was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 16, 1933, the son of John Levi and Ina Alina (Stoor) Scotton. He married Shirley Jessmine Ward on June 12, 1954, in Flint. Lewis started his career at Chevy in the Hole and later for the Parts Division. As he furthered his position within General Motors, his job moved him and his family to numerous different cities and states.
Lewis was an athlete and loved spending time golfing. He was the former President of the Carmen Ainsworth Athletic Boosters.
Lewis is survived by his children, Leslie and husband Douglas Hansen, Matthew Scotton, Mark Scotton, and Luke Scotton; four grandchildren, Jessmine and husband Ryan McCoy, Emily and husband Logan Thomas, Alena Scotton and Zachary Scotton; great-grandson, Joseph McCoy; and sister, Mary Lynn VanAlstine |
