McMullin, Joanne Elaine – of Clio, age 73 died Friday, April 27, 2018 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Joanne was born December 29, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Russel and Pauline (Martin) Ely. She grew up in Burton, Michigan and graduated from Carmen Ainsworth High School with the class of 1963. On July 25, 1964 she married Eldon McMullin and he preceded her in death. She worked in several small factories in the area. Joanne also worked for Clio School as lunch aide and at Latchkey. She enjoyed crafts, painting and spending time with her grandchildren. Joanne had a big heart and would help anyone in need.
Surviving are; Children, Kimberly Sibley, Kevin McMullin, Pamela White, Stephanie McMullin, Randall McMullin; 13 Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson on the way; Sisters, Delorse Formen, Sharon Metcalf; Son in law, James Sibley. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Eldon; Brothers, Jim Ely, Spence Ely Great Granddaughter Jayden Sibley.
