CAPPS, Michael W. – Of Flint, age 55, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 13, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Chris Yager officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. Capps will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on September 26, 1962, the son of Evan and Virginia (Millard) Capps. He married Heidi Haist on August 29, 1987. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and had a Black Belt in Karate.
Surviving are wife, Heidi;
daughter, Marrisa (Robert) Leininger;
step-granddaughter, Karen;
grandson, Johnathon;
brother, Matthew;
sisters, Shari (Mike) Black,
Carol (Bob) McLaren,
Ginger (John) Petrucia and
Bobbie (Hugh) Dowen;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Suzie and sister-in-law, Vicki.
