MYERS, Norma Jean “Spike” – Of Burton, age 66, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Genesee Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Norma was born in Flint, Michigan on October 4, 1949, the daughter of Roy and Lillian (Baldwin) Spicher and was a resident of the Flint area.
She graduated with honors from Kearsley Adult School in 1987.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and was a wonderful sports mom and enjoyed styling hair and cake decorating.
She was a member of the Burton Senior Citizens.
Norma was employed by Shirley’s Beauty Shop and by VG’s and Meijer Bakery Shop for 15 years.
Surviving are children, Dana (Pat) Maue of Flint,
Alan Myers and Jeanette Blackledge of Grand Blanc and
Dawn (Matt) Tageson of Swartz Creek;
two grandchildren, Christopher and Dillyn Knuckles of Arkansas;
one great-grandchild, Bryan of Arkansas;
sister, Lela Schwark of California;
several nieces, nephews; especially close, Steve (Kelly) Labean and Kelly Ann (Pat) Watson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Miron and Glenda Barron.
