DuLude, Sheila Marie - Of Lansing, Michigan, passed away age 60, at Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte, Michigan, where she received excellent personal care and attention from all of the staff and volunteers during her stay there.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Bruce Malicoat officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sheila's name to: Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran Rd, Charlotte, MI 48813.
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday and 10am-1pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Sheila was born in Flint, Michigan on October 28, 1952. After graduating from Millington High School in 1970, she enrolled in Hurley School of Nursing, where she graduated and became a full time Registered Nurse, specializing in IV therapy for over 23 years at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. She retired from McLaren in 1995. Sheila enjoyed architecture, history, antiques, reading, cooking, playing golf, bowling, traveling and watching both the Detroit Lions and the Michigan State Spartans. It is her laugh that will be missed and remembered by everyone she knew.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas DuLude of Lansing;
stepson, Todd DuLude;
granddaughters, Isabella and Lily of Grand Blanc;
stepdaughter, Heidi (David) Kleban and granddaughter, Zoe of North Yarmouth, Maine;
mother, Pearl Robbins and
brother, Joe Robbins, both of Millington;
sister, Tami Paul (Jim Brueggemann) of Republic and nephew, Jared Paul (fiancée' Michelle Larsen) of Norway, Michigan;
father-in-law, Bernard DuLude and
sister-in-law, Cindy Bassi, both of Flushing;
brother-in-law, Jerry (Terry) DuLude of Delray Beach, Florida;
along with many, many first cousins on both sides of the family and several close and special friends, neighbors and acquaintances.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Robbins in 2007 and mother-in-law, Mary Louise DuLude in 2010.
