STADLER, Kathleen E. – of Clio, age 91, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Bethany United Methodist Church – 353 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Ruth Vandersande officiating. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church.
Kathleen was born on August 16, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Wallace and Jessie (Freeman) Stadler. She married the love of her life, Gerald Stadler and together they shared a beautiful 74 years, a true testament of companionship, love, and devotion. Kathleen is now lovingly reunited with her cherished husband, who passed away on March 29, 2024. Throughout her years, Kathleen was a deeply committed and active member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she served in various capacities with great devotion. Her strong faith and unwavering dedication to her church and community were a true reflection of her caring spirit. Kathleen’s interests and passions were as varied as they were meaningful. She looked forward to her monthly gatherings with her "dirty dozen" card club friends, where laughter and good times were always had. Kathleen had a passion for gardening, a love of flowers, and a delightful collection of strawberry-themed items. With a wonderful, sassy personality and sense of humor, she brought laughter and happiness to all who knew her. Above all, her unwavering love for her family is where she found her greatest joy. Time spent with her children and grandchildren enriched her life beyond measure. Kathleen absolutely adored her husband and cherished her time spent with him, particularly their numerous adventures traveling - especially to Hawaii, a place they visited on 39 separate occasions, forming lasting friendships and creating countless cherished memories.
Surviving are: Sons: Norton (Phyllis) Stadler, and Kendall (Tracy) Stadler; Daughter in law, Sandy Stadler; Unofficial adopted son, Mark (Eleanor) Herhold, and daughter, Sophie; Grandchildren: David (Charity) Stadler, James (Becky) Stadler, Michelle Lakin, Brian Stadler, Kali (Jordan) McGowan, Jessica (Rob) Edney, and Kristina Coury; Great grandchildren: Maddie Holifield, Caleb Stadler, and Katie Lakin; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. Kathleen was also preceded in death by: Son, Randy Stadler; Siblings: Mabel & Raymond Cloutier, Wayne & Judy Stadler, Jesse & Phyllis Stadler, and Mildred & Mike Crame.
