SCHILLING, Jean G. – Of Grand Blanc, age 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Hyde Park Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Glen Grant officiating.
Private burial with her family will take place.
Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jean was born in Flint, Michigan on March 9, 1918, the daughter of Richard and Ette (Glover) Lambert. She was formerly a resident of Flint, moving to Grand Blanc in 1968. She married Hank on December 23, 1939 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2011.
She was a member of Kirkridge Presbyterian Church in Grand Blanc.
She enjoyed traveling, playing Bridge, sewing and “Club Tuesday”.
Surviving are three children, Robert and wife Karen of Flushing,
Gerald and wife Bernadette of Austin, Texas,
Debra Hardenbrook of Ann Arbor;
five grandchildren, Brian, Mark and Jamie Schilling,
Garret and Grace Hardenbrook;
five great-grandchildren, Reed, Kennedy, Cade, Victoria and Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and son-in-law, Jeff Hardenbrook.
