Back, Roland Lee of Millington, MI age 74 died May 11, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, May 15, 2015 at Trinity Episcopal Church 745 E. Main St. Flushing. Family will receive visitors from 12 Noon -8 PM Thursday, May 14 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors Friday from 11 am until time of service at the church. Burial in Millington Cemetery. Pastor Michael Alan Horn Back officiating. Roland was born in Flint, MI, the son of Jacob Frank and Virginia (Warren) Back. Roland was joined in marriage to Carolyn Ferguson July 30, 1966 and she preceded him in death February 4, 2001. He was then joined in marriage to Edith 'Edyie' (Andis) Mead July 17, 2010. Roland was a United States Army veteran and he worked for General Motors retiring after 31 years of service. He was an avid reader of the Holy Bible and co-wrote a book regarding the end times and the book of Revelations. Roland's passions were everything involving God, country, the Constitution and his family! He is survived by wife Edyie, children; Michael (Renata) Back, Michele (Michael) Butts, Melinda (Dennis) Cronk, Melissa (Matthew) Butts, step-children; Virginia (Bruce) Sepanak, Donald, David and Patty Mead, 31 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephew. Roland was preceded in death by wife Carolyn Back, son Markell Back, granddaughter Karra, 1 great granddaughter Lucy, sisters Brenda and Bonnie, and brother William 'Sonny'. |
