FISHER, Edna Mae (Little), of Flint, MI, age 84, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 in Marlin, TX. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423, Elder Edward MacDonald officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM Thursday, November 3, 2016 and 10-11 AM Friday, November 4, 2016 at the funeral home.
Edna was born in Flint, MI on February 21, 1932, daughter of the late Russell and Bessie Little. She married Donald Hoover and to this union 4 children were born. She later married Samuel Fisher. Edna believed in Jesus Christ and had faith in Him throughout her life. She was baptized in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Edna also attended the Oakwood Restoration Branch and finally joined the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She retired from General Motors and volunteered her time and donated money to causes for which she was passionate.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by 4 children, Richard Hoover of TX, Debra (Scott) Michael of TX, Rhonda (Michael) Dinnan of Flint, MI and Gregory (Patty) Hoover of TN; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 foster child; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Fisher; 6 siblings; 2 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
