DEMARIA, Lisa, - of Davison, age 58, passed away July 18, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 2 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Robert C. Bacik officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Saturday and 12 PM until time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lisa was born in Flint, MI on March 24, 1959 to Eugene and Rachel Freeman. She attended Kearsley High School, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1977. Lisa worked at Buick as an EIT Electrician and a Heating and Cooling Refrigeration Technician for 27 years before retiring in 2005. She married Gerald DeMaria in 1984. Jerry also died from injuries sustained in the same accident. Lisa had a passion for gardening beautiful flowers, bike riding, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Lisa and Jerry enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida and enjoying their grandkids.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Mariea (Richard) Clapper; grandchildren, Zoya Clapper, Noah Clapper, Riley Clapper, Emree Rose, Connor Rose, Emily Rose, and Dylan Rose; mother, Rachel Freeman; sisters, Linda (Gene) Hollenbeck, Laura (Matt) Topham; brothers, Larry (Renee) Freeman, Justin (Kathy) Freeman; brothers-in-law, Donald (Diane) DeMaria and William (Charlene) DeMaria.
