STEWARD, Sandra ”Maga” - of Lapeer, age 70, passed away May 25, 2013 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, May 30, 2013 at World Outreach Center, 2275 N. Irish Rd., Davison; Bishop Jerry Pruett officiating. Burial will follow in Oregon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday and 11 am – 2 pm & 5-8 pm Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Sandra was born in Flint, MI on October 15, 1942, daughter of Darrell and Virginia (Weigandt) Knapp. She married Edwin L. Steward on January 28, 1961 and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2012. Sandra was a member of World Outreach Center and worked as an Operations Manager for McLaren. She enjoyed baking and was an animal lover. Sandra loved spending time with her family at her home, “The Farm Sanctuary”. She always was thinking of others and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Sherry and Terry; son, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Brandi, Heather, Leon, Anthony and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Justin, Damon, Aubrey and Noah; mother, Virginia Weigandt; sisters, Darlene Mathews and Carolyn (Glenn) Edwards. She was preceded in death by husband, Eddie; fathers, Darrell Knapp and John Weigandt; brother-in-law, Tom Mathews; mother-in-law, Gertrude Boshaw and Tinker.
