MARTIN, Jack Sherman - Age 74, of Clio, died Saturday, August 24, 2019. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Jack was born November 27, 1944 in Smoot, WV, the son of Edgar W. and Kathleen E. (Simms) Martin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Sherry Lee Forcia October 29, 1988 in Las Vegas, NV. He had resided in Clio for the past 50 years coming from Smoot, WV. Jack owned and operated Unlimited Auto Services for many years. Surviving are: his wife, Sherry; children, Samuel (Indi) Martin of Lapeer, Mary Ellen (Joe) Fedchenko of Mt. Morris, Frank (Andrea) Gerzetich of West Branch, and Robert (Molly) Gerzetich of Temperance; grandchildren, Vance, Devyn, Drew, Nolan, Benjamin, Joslinn, Jayde, Lilah, Emmanuel, Ian, and Avery; brothers, Fredrick (Ionia) Martin of North Carolina and William Martin of West Virginia; sisters, Mildred Holland of West Virginia and Barbara Sweet of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Carl Martin, Joseph Martin, Henrietta Green, Loretta Martin, Alice Schafer, and Clare Whitmore.
