Kelly Carolyn Patterson, of Flushing
died on November 20, 2024 at home after a brief illness.
Kelly was born on February 24, 1967, the daughter of Kenneth Kimmel and Dianne (Kimmel) Krupp in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Chesaning High School in 1985, and went on to become a beautician for 30 years at Shear Excellence in Swartz Creek. She married her husband, Ed Patterson on January 30, 2001.
Kelly enjoyed caring for her indoor and outdoor plants in her garden, fishing, loving on her dogs and lizards, and spending time with her grandchildren. Before her illness, she had a passion for being an aid to seniors in nursing homes. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Ed Patterson; mother, Dianne (William) Krupp; sister, Kristy (Heath) Bitterman; step-children, Jeremy, Kyle, and Kaleb grandchildren, Layla, Eva, John, Seth, Jeremiah, and Lily; sister-in-law, Hiedi Patterson; mother and father - in- law, John (Cheryl) Patterson; step-siblings, Carrie (David) Lawler, Masha (Gordy) Fenderer, Ralph (Lisa) Krupp, Bill (Bea) Krupp, Art (Kathy) Krupp; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kimmel; brothers, Kenneth Kimmel and Steven Kimmel; grandparents, Josephine and William Kimmel and Ferdinand and Armella Gross.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 10:00am until 1:00pm, with a memorial service taking place at 1:00pm, at McGeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel. |
