WEIER, JAMES CARL age 66, of Burton, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at his home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI. Pastor Steve Baillie officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. and 1:00 to 2:00 Wednesday at the Church. James was born February 6, 1947 in Flint, MI. to parents Carl and Shirley (Grace) Weier. He married Colette Merrow February 1, 1997. James was a graduate of Kearsley High Scchool and later attended Michigan Tech. He worked for G.M. as a Tool and Dye Maker where he retired only to work at the YWCA as head of Maintenance. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he was proud to be a Deacon and faithfully served at the morning breakfast service for several years. He leaves to cherish his memories are wife Colette; children James Charles Weier, Jennifer Orlando, Taylor Marie Weier and 5 grandchildren; sister Carol (Ron) Moughler; brother Steve Weier and many other family members and friends he touched the hearts of during his lifetime. Contributions may be made to his youngest daughter Taylor’s for her college fund as Jim would desire this to be done. Condolences may be left on-line at www.brownfh.com
