FRASER, Edna L. – Of Flint and Swartz Creek, MI, age 90, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at Sugarbush House.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at North Baptist Church, 4001 Lennon Road, Flint, Pastor Ben Gonzales officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to North Baptist Church.
Visitation 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on September 17, 1926, the daughter of Ellis and Beulah (Puckett) Roberts and was a resident of Swartz Creek for over 40 years.
On November 12, 1943 Edna married Douglas E. Fraser in Flint. After almost 60 years of marriage she was widowed on January 12, 2003.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother, but God came first in her life and then her family.
She was active in serving the Lord along with her husband through their involvement in church ministry and Carriage Town Mission.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, and activities with her family.
Surviving are three children, Douglas Jr. (Carol) Fraser, Linda (John) Hawkins and Andrew (Dawn) Fraser;
8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren;
brother, Bill (Betty) Roberts and
sister, Betty Lou (Pat) Miller.
The family would like to thank the staff at Sugarbush House and Heartland Hospice for their excellent care. They were an answer prayer for kind and loving care.
