Rachow, Corrine M. of Flushing, age 81, died Friday, January 3, 2020, at her home. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2020, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Anthony Brooks will officiate. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the time of the Mass. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Robert Catholic Church.
Corrine was born in Flint, Michigan on October 19, 1938, the daughter of Edwin and Alice (Collinge) Skelly. She was a graduated of St. John Vianney Catholic School, class of 1956. Corrine married Robert Rachow on February 7, 1959, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She was an active member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing for 50 years. Corrine worked for 23 years at St. Joseph hospital as a cook. She enjoyed gardening, but her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
Corrine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert; children, Mark Rachow, Kathleen and husband Tony Alison, Denise Riley, Marilyn Cole; grandchildren, Christen, Robert, Lauren, Nicholas, Colin, Braden; and sister, Bernice Carey. She was preceded in death by her son, Mathew Rachow.
