Hawkins, Scott D. of Flint, age 44, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 5 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Scott will officiate. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. until the time of the services Monday at the funeral home.
Scott was born in Flint, Michigan on April 7, 1968, the son of Ralph and Rebecca (Stone) Hawkins. Scott graduated from Flint Academy in 1986. He enjoyed sports, playing Texas Hold’em and was an avid Tigers fan. Scott loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Ralph Hawkins of Flint, Rebecca Freiburger of Flushing; brother, Jim and wife Angie Hawkins of Birch Run; three nieces, Paige, Raelyn, Morgan; nephew, Shane; grandparents, George and June Stone of Flushing; special friends, John and Mason Fournier; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Norene Hawkins and niece, Bailey Kaye Hawkins.
