JACKETT, Donald – of Millington, age 78, passed away on May 5, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 11 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any animal shelter of your choice, in Donald’s memory.
Donald was born in Pittsburgh, KS, son of the late Charles and Delores (Gomez) Jackett. He married Patricia Wiltse on July 20, 1991 in Flint, MI. Don enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, playing with his pets and enjoyed taking care of his lawn. He spent a lot of time tinkering in his pole barn. Don loved photography, taking pictures of family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Tammie Jackett, Mike Jackett, Clinton (Danielle) Jackett, Julie (Larry) Tinnin, Shawn Jackett; step-children, Sarah (Jaime) Hill and Nathan (Brittany) Wolf; grandchildren, Courtney (Ryan), Andrew (Danielle), Jonathon, Mitchell (Bridgette), Dakota, Lucas, William II, Hannah, Shane, Attie, River and Bristol; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; brother, David (Barbara) Jackett; niece, Lisa (Mike) Rogers and nephew, Dan (Corey) Jackett; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Becky Jackett and granddaughter, Channon Jackett.
