DINNAN, Veona Lorraine – age 94 of Saginaw, MI passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Samaritas Nursing Center in Saginaw, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 3PM-9PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10AM at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska, MI. Veona was born on October 15, 1922 in Flint, MI to the late Clifton and Violet (Hubel) Graydon. She spent her life as a homemaker raising her children. Veona was always caring for family members and loved to have visitors. One of her proudest accomplishments was working at the Senior Center. She also graduated from adult education at the age of 62 showing her perseverance. Veona enjoyed word search puzzles, BINGO, arts, and crafts, and bird watching. Her favorite thing though was to be with the family that she loved so dearly. Surviving are her son, Dennis P. (Margaret) Dinnan; grandchildren, Darrel, Pamela, Christopher, and Brian; step-grandchildren; George, Vicky, Christa, Ken, Wanda, Jenny, and Steven; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Jeremy, Vann, Nicholas, and Elizabeth; step-great-grandchildren, Katie, Anna, Madison, Nick, Kyleh, Karley, K.C., Jamie, and Megan; special nieces and nephew that she took under her wing in raising, Debbie, Alicia, Roxanne, and Clifton; and special grand-nephew, Jason. Veona was preceded in death by her parents, son, Darrel Dinnan; siblings, Arrol (Nellie) Graydon, Veryl (Bernice) Graydon, Colleen (Wade) Waltrip, and Duane (Sharon) Graydon; and ex-husband, Louie Dinnan. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Christa Fassone and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion. Contributions may be made to the family.
