LEONARD, Patsy A. – Of Burton, age 70, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 Genesee Road, Burton, Reverend Dr. Daniel A. Wonderly officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Pilgrim Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
Visitation 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Leonard will be at the church from 12 p.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Patsy was born in Harlan, Kentucky on October 7, 1942, the daughter of Roy and Lucille (Fields) Montgomery and was a resident of Burton.
She married Wayne O. Leonard on March 14, 1963 in Flint.
She attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Leonard was owner of the Mad Hatter and was a Real Estate Agent.
She loved to spend time with her family and was an avid reader.
Surviving are husband, Wayne;
daughter, Kimberly (Dana) Allen;
son, Wayne O. (Ericka) Jr.;
mother, Lucille Montgomery;
granddaughters, Marie Hope, Christine Faith, and Rachel Grace;
sister, Evelyn (Dan) Roof;
nephew, Danny Jr.; niece, Shannon and cousin, Glenna Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her father.
