SMITH, Catherine L. – Of Flushing, age 69, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Berean Baptist Church, 6705 Rustic Ridge, Flint, Pastor Robert Dickie officiating.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Smith will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Catherine was born in Flint, Michigan on February 20, 1947, the daughter of John and Beverly (Simpson) Weaver.
On October 26, 1968 she married Bruce in Flint.
Surviving are husband, Bruce;
two children, Christopher (Heidi) and
Suzanne (Teddy) McCartney;
7 grandchildren;
mother, Beverly Weaver;
one brother, David (Josie) Weaver;
two nephews;
one niece.
She was preceded in death by father, John and sister, Rebecca.
