BIBILIKOW, Helen – Of Ann Arbor, formerly of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Friday, November 28, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 South Center Road, Burton,
Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Visitation 3-5 p.m. Sunday, 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Parastas Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bibilikow will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
Helen was born in Flint, Michigan on October 31, 1925, the daughter of George and Themyana (Tchokreff) Brown.
On October 27, 1957 she married John Bibilikow.
She was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Helen loved knitting and cooking. However, she was most remembered for her loving and kind laughter.
She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
She worked with her husband, John, in the family restaurant business; Scotti’s Steak House and Pizzeria in Denver, Colorado and the original Scotti’s Coney Island in Burton.
Surviving are daughter, Christine and husband Jerry Brucksch of Ann Arbor;
grandchildren, Joshua and Jennifer;
sisters, Dorothy Goodman and Evanka Elieff, both of Grand Blanc;
brother, Phillip and wife Barbara Brown of Fenton;
many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Themyana Brown; husband, John; infant brother, Victor; brothers-in-law, Lewis Elieff and Joe Goodman.
