CAMPBELL, Donald M. “Danny” – of Davison, age 68, passed away January 31, 2018 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, February 5, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be 10 AM – 12 PM & 1-6 PM Sunday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trout Unlimited, www.tu.org.
Donald was born in Warren, OH on January 20, 1950, son of Donald Morrison and Lucille (Overmeier) Campbell. He married Cheryl Jordan on April 14, 2007 at Stone Angel Wedding Chapel in Davison. Donald retired after 38 years as a statistical engineer at Flint Engine South. He was a member of UAW Local #659. He enjoyed fly-fishing, ballroom dancing and riding motorcycle. Donald was also a hot air balloon pilot. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Donald is survived by wife, Cheryl; children, Jennifer (Timothy) Sword and David (Jennifer) Farner; grandchildren, Tiffany (fiance, Michael Romatz) Schack, Nicole (Ramon) Gatica, Gabriel Farner and Madelyn Farner; great-grandchildren, Raylyn Gatica, Jack and Averie Romatz; mother, Lucille Campbell; many other loved friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; brother, Malcolm Campbell.
