SEXTON, Bruce –Of Flint, age 72, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Wayne McDaniel officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bruce was born in May, Kentucky on July 23, 1943, the son of George and Toymae (Holland) Sexton.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taxidermy.
Mr. Sexton retired from GM Metal Fab and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are daughter, Kristina Sexton and Thomas Wilcox of Flint;
grandchildren, Vanessa Sexton, Alexandria Sexton and Emma Sexton-Green;
five sisters, Anna B. and husband Agnel Amburgey,
Sue and husband Walter Thomas,
Nella Jean and husband Walter Collins,
JoElla Owens and Barb Miller, all of Kentucky;
many nieces and nephews;
special friends, Peggy Sexton, Maria and Richard Passmore, Phil and Pat Gitchell.
