SHIPMAN, Peggy – of Flint, age 86, passed away November 17, 2019 at Regency at Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor John Vannest officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service on Wednesday.
Peggy was born in De Land, Illinois on July 17, 1933. She loved bowling, golfing and traveling to many different places, especially her family summer vacations in Ludington. Peggy enjoyed all holidays, especially Halloween, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, Christopher and Janie. Peggy retired from property management, including residential, commercial and recreational facilities in the area after many years of dedicated service.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Christopher (Jeanie) Shipman, Kevin (Kim) Shipman, Richard (Lori) Shipman and Steve Shipman; grandchildren, Janie and Christopher; brother, John (Pat) Corder. She was preceded in death by her sons, Joe and Randy; brother, Donny (Shirley) Corder. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Regency at Grand Blanc and Reverence Hospice.
