GRIFFIN, Lori Ann – of Flint, age 53, passed away on May 6, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Fr. Roy Horning officiating. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County.
Lori was born in Flint on November 6, 1970, daughter of the late Robert and Linda (Dick) Baksa. She married Mark Griffin on March 1, 1996. Lori enjoyed being a lunch lady and managing after school activities for children at Holy Rosary Catholic School. In her spare time, Lori enjoyed gardening. She was a fabulous cook and a wonderful baker. Lori had a huge heart for others, a passion for animals, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her children.
Lori is survived by her husband, Mark; two children, Tyler (Chloe) Griffin and Karlee Griffin; a grandchild on the way; sister, Jody Baksa; niece, Holly Goodenough; great-nephew, Jackson Goodenough. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Johnny Barnett.
