BUSH, Cleo V. – of Birch Run, age 94, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Maple Woods Manor. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 3, 2017 at Sheridan Road Baptist Church, 6911 Sheridan Rd. in Saginaw. Pastor Lou Jurva officiating. Burial to follow in Cook Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Thursday from 12 – 8 PM and at the church on Friday from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the Sheridan Road Baptist Church.
Cleo was born October 24, 1922 in Elk River, MN the daughter of the late Arthur and Ila (Kammerer) Bressler. She married John W. Bush on June 20, 1940. She was a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church for 60 years. She enjoyed going to church, taking care of everyone, cooking and baking.
Surviving are: Children: Julene (Roger) Locke of Clio, Doranne Ringle of Saginaw, Johneeda (David) Belfort of GA; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Hunt of CA; brother, Arthur Bressler of Saginaw; daughter-in-law, Bette Bush of Burt and Sandra Bush of San Antonio, TX; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: husband, John in 1984; sons, Dennis, John III, Thomas, Michael; sister, June Lewis; and a great-grandson, Trevor.
