SHARBER, Mildred J. – Of Flint, age 62, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Brian's House of Davison.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Martin Watkins officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 12-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mildred was born in Orange, Texas on January 8, 1950, the daughter of Vito and Opal (Bryant) Garfi.
She graduated from Southwestern High School in 1968.
On August 18, 1973 she married Don Sharber.
Mildred was employed by Meijer, retiring in 2001.
Surviving are husband, Don;
children, John and wife Rochelle,
Jeremy and wife Lori;
2 step-children, Donald, Daniel and wife Lisa;
15 grandchildren;
3 great-grandchildren;
parents, Vito and Opal Garfi;
2 sisters, Kathryn and husband Richard Vandette and
Victoria Jancar;
one brother, Joseph and wife Mary Garfi;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandparents.
