BEAUDRY, DAVID DENNIS – Beloved husband of Sally Tartoni, departed from this world on June 11, 2024, to embark on his heavenly journey. Born on December 27, 1939, David lived a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories. In the loving embrace of his family, David leaves behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a devoted husband to Sally, a pillar of strength and compassion. Together, they shared a special bond in finding a second chance at love after having lost their first loves.
David was a proud father to Nicole (Bill) Dailey, Noelle (Michael) Andrews; stepson, David Tartoni, and stepdaughter, Trisha (Greg) Bird. His nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of his children, instilling in them values of kindness, resilience, and determination. His grandchildren, Conor, Keelin, James, Ella, Ian, McKenzie, and Nicholas, were the light of his life, filling his days with joy and laughter. Their presence brought him immeasurable happiness, and he cherished every moment spent in their company. David was a devoted son of Douglas and Florence Beaudry, who preceded him in death, along with his first wife, Carolyn. In their memory, he carried forward a legacy of love and family unity.
A man of intellect and integrity, David pursued his education at Cooley High School, where he excelled in basketball, and later attended Michigan State University and Detroit College of Law. As an assistant prosecuting attorney for Genesee and Saginaw counties, he demonstrated a steadfast commitment to justice and fairness.
An avid sports enthusiast, David’s passion for Michigan State University and Detroit sports teams knew no bounds. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or engaging in spirited debates about sports, he found joy in every game and match. In addition to his professional achievements and sports fandom, David cherished the bonds of family and friendship. He was a beloved brother to Barbara Brodtmann, Mark (Linda) Beaudry, and a cherished uncle to nephews, Beau, Matt, and Eric. David’s memory will also be treasured by his sisters-in-law, Patti (Richard) Granter and Joni (Dan) Patrus; nieces, Shannon and Dana, and those who share in his journey with love and support, especially Krista Kuehl, John Muston, and Michael and Patty Newton. A BIG shout out to The Oaks of Woodfield’s entire staff, who were absolutely wonderful, kind and loving.
As we bid farewell to David Dennis Beaudry, we take solace in the memories he leaves behind and the love that will forever surround us. May his spirit continue to guide and inspire us, and may his legacy endure through the generations. Rest in peace, dear David, knowing that you are deeply loved and eternally remembered.
