Allie, Carol May - Age 81, of Linden, died June 23, 2019. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, June 27 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 2-9 PM Wednesday, 10 AM until the time of the funeral Thursday. Carol was born October 16, 1937 in Milford the daughter of Milford and Odith (Fosgate) Bannerman. She married Ronald Allie on June 24, 1984; he preceded her in death March 31, 2019. Carol retired from the Ann Arbor News after 20 years of service. After retirement she bought the Gaines Bar. She also sold Mary Kay and Real Estate. Surviving are: children, Edward (Jamie) Harter of Howell, Julie (Tim) Horner of Linden, Ronald (Beth) Allie of Indiana ; grandchildren, Dayna (Mike) Ratliff, Phillip Worvie, Ben (Julie) Harter, Matthew (Liz) Harter, Shannon (Shaun) Stehle, Alicia (Billy) Hoffman, Douglas (Tianna) Stehle, Darren Stehle, Jordynn Horner, Tyler (Amber) Horner, Phylicia (Dennis) Powers, Faith Allie, Nathan Allie; many great-grandchildren; sister Marion Armstrong; brother Raymond Bannerman; many nieces and nephews.
