LOVEGROVE, Sally Jo – of Flint, age 57, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Friday, June 14, 2013 at Lakeview Community Church, 10023 S. State Rd., Goodrich, Pastor Jon Grimshaw officiating. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 4:30 until the time of service on Friday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Sally was born in Flint, MI on March 26, 1956, daughter of the late Evan and Kathryn (McDonald) Lovegrove. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1974. Sally attended church at Lakeview Community Church. She also enjoyed camping and watching the Detroit Tigers.
Sally is survived by her life partner, Janette Reif; sister, Kay (Donald) Chaplin; brother, Robert (Kelly) Lovegrove; niece, Kathy (Cam) Vermilya; great-nephews, Kevin and Connor; also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Amore; brother, Danny Lovegrove.
