BRADY, Mary M. – of Clio, age 79, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Maple Woods Manor. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mary's life will be held 11AM Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-8PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of celebration at 11AM. Contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Mary was born December 24, 1936 in Negaunee, Michigan to the late Noel and Elaine (Denofre) Blood. She married Charles D. Brady Jr., July 14, 1956 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Flint. Mary was a secretary with Flint Public Schools and later Clio Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre, bridge and cribbage. Mary also enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was a feisty lady with a huge loving heart. Above all, Mary loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Husband, Charles D. Brady Jr., of Clio; Children: Debi Drabek (Fiancé Ron Gutchak) of Beaverton, Jeff (Christiana) Brady of Clio, Tom Brady of Pontiac and Noelle (Mike) Gibis of Grand Blanc; 10 grandchildren: Seth (Jamie) Morgan, Erik Morgan, Adam Drabek, Noel Brady (Fianceé Kearsten), Natasha Brady, Jacob (Brittany) Brady, Garrett Brady, Katelyn Brady, Josh Gibis and Andrew Gibis; 8 great-grandchildren: Mason, Kenzie, Felicia, Jacey, Devon, Riley, Aidan and Kasin; Brothers: Joe (Bobbi) Blood, Stanley Blood, Charlie Blood, Jimmy (Beth) Blood and Vincent (Therese) Blood; Many other loving family members and close friends.
