BRADY, Homer C. - Of Flint, age 86, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 10am Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,
Bishop Dan Coleman officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pentecostal Church of God-Michigan District.
Visitation 6-8pm Thursday and 1-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Homer was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on January 16, 1926, son of the late Millard and Ida (Cain) Brady. He married Benny Pickles on October 13, 1952 and she preceded him in death in 2005. Homer was an Army/Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was employed with General Motors, retiring in 1988.
Surviving are children, Floyd (Kimberly), Ali (Dave) Rood, and Lisa (Gregory) Norris;
15 grandchildren;
2 great-grandchildren;
brother, Robert (Daisy Jo) Brady and sister, Dorothy (Eugene) Chrismon;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Brady and brother Jesse Brady.
