Age 50 of Laingsburg passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12noon to 5pm.
Gidget was born October 5, 1967 in Flint, the daughter of Kraig and Gloria (Richards) Middleton.
She graduated from Swartz Creek High School; Class of 1985.
Gidget enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She played a major part in the cannabis community with her involvement with High Times and earned many awards in cannabis competitions. Gidget was very proud of her business Gidget's Amazing Gardens.
She was employed for 20 years in the Automotive Industry as a Senior Manufacturing Technician and was part of the 1986 team that launched the ABS system.
Gidget is survived by her children Shelby Walton and Nicholas (Ayla) VanDeSande; grandchildren Lily, Arya and Abel Walton; parents Kraig and Gloria; her partner Samuel Postema and his daughter Samantha; and many other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandparents.
