PATTERSON, Donald Wayne - Age 65 of Grand Blanc passed away February 14, 2020. Funeral Service 9:30 AM Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Rev. Donald Bunker officiating. Visitation 4PM - 8 PM Tuesday and 8:30 AM until the time of service Wednesday. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Donald was born February 2, 1955 in LaPorte, IN, the son of Willie Joe and Donna Jean (Switzer) Patterson. He married Jackie Gant- Caldwell in Flint February 9, 2018. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a truck driver for over 40 years. Donald was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and story telling.
Surviving are: wife, Jackie Caldwell; children, Danielle Patterson, Abraham Patterson, Alicia Patterson, Russell (Valerie) Bryant, Jena (Todd) West, Carol (Chris) Alcock, and Roberta Litteral; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grand children; mother, Donna Jean Rhodes; siblings, Billy Gene Patterson, Roxanna (Kevin) Prior, Tracy Lee Ackerman, Robert Ackerman II, Cynthia Swisher, Edward (Keri) Martz, and Karen Jones; several nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by: father, Willie Joe Patterson; step mother, Joyce Patterson; brother, Kenneth Patterson; nephew, T.J.
