John Frank Cicalo of Davison, age 73, died Sunday December 14, 2014 at Regency of Grand Blanc. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday December 18, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Burial will follow at Davison Cemetery Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in John’s memory to American Cancer society or American Diabetes Association. John was born in Goodrich Michigan on March 18, 1941 the son of the late: Joseph & Helena (Vavra) Cicalo and had resided in the Davison area his entire life. He was joined in marriage to Mary Woodward on April 19, 1969 at the Central United Methodist Church, Flint. John had been employed by General Motors Chevrolet Engine Division until his retirement in December 1997. He leaves his wife Mary, son, Tony & Leslie Cicalo, stepson, Kenneth Welch, grandchildren Brendan, and Averie. He also leaves his brother Joe Cicalo and a host of other relatives.
