Carol Joyce Dipzinski, age 81, of Au Gres, Michigan, formerly of Flint, Michigan passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 9, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Michigan.
Carol was born February 10, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late William Samuel and Martha Margaret (Thomas) Duncan. She married Norman J. Dipzinski on May 11, 1957 in Flint, Michigan and together began their family raising three children, Rodney, Mitchell, and Lori. Carol was a clerk for many years in a package plant and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening especially flowers, trips to the casino with Norman and family, playing BINGO, and the monthly U.A.W. luncheons held in Au Gres, Michigan.
Carol is survived by her son, Rodney J. Dipzinski, of Flint, Michigan; daughter, Lori R. Dipzinski of Flint, Michigan; sister and caregiver Holly Pierce of East TAWAS, Michigan; grandchildren, RJ (Heather) Verdier, Shantel Dipzinski, Kristy Dipzinski, and Matthew Dipzinski; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kameron, Logan, Lukas, Mya, Landyn, and Gibson; special friends, Erika Brace, Nancy Atchison, Jim and Karen, and Sue and Denny; and her furry friends at home that will miss her terribly. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband Norman; son, Mitchell Dipzinski; brother, Laurence Duncan.
According to Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The celebration of life that was scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020 has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the local Humane Society in Carol’s memory. Online condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
