TEAGUE, Margaret Naideen – of Burton, age 93, passed away September 23, 2014 at home. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Friday, September 26, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 PM Thursday and 1-2 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201 or Blums Landing at 7460 Ocqueoc Lake Rd., Millersburg, MI 49759.
Margaret was born in Weakley, TN daughter of the late Dewey and Mary (Stovall) Barber. She married Alvis Teague on June 28, 1941 in Dresden, TN and he preceded her in death. Margaret was known affectionately as “Grandma” by most. She was well known for her love of family, her amazing ability in the kitchen, her green thumb in the garden and her beautiful quilts that she made for family and friends. Margaret enjoyed watching the Tigers and golf and needle working.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Gail (David) Lauderbaugh; grandchildren, Deborah, Stephen (Kelly); sister-in-law, Josie McPeak; nephew, Ronald (Vickie) Lamb. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Alice Lamb; brother-in-law, James L. Lamb.
