WITTUM, Allan S. – of Flint, age 61, died on Friday, January 31, 2020 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1PM until 8PM and Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Allan was born December 19, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to the late Richard and Ethel (Broad) Wittum. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1977. Allan married Cindy Simmons on February 11, 1999. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2016. Mr. Wittum retired from General Motors with over 31 years seniority. He was a member of Westside Church in Flushing. Allan loved fishing. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, and was a car fanatic.
Surviving are: Daughters: Angelita (Scott) Johnson, and Jessica Simmons; Grandchildren: Emily Johnson, Alex Johnson, Vashtiana Mitchell, and Cody Mitchell; Great granddaughter, Brooke Johnson; Brother, Dennis (Tammy) Wittum; Sister, Michelle (Ronald) Huntoon; Nieces and nephews: Sara (Rick) Kelly, Aaron Huntoon, Adam Huntoon, Ashton Huntoon, Amanda Popilek, and Russell Huntoon; Many other loving family members and friends.
