STEWART, Keith R. – of Davison, age 87, passed away June 18, 2013 at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Davison.
Keith was born in Flint, MI on December 20, 1925, son of the late Bert and Bertha (Archer) Stewart. He married Patricia A. Davis in 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1976. Keith married June R. (Colbert) Stewart on January 2, 1982 at First Baptist Church of Davison. He graduated from Flint Tech High School as Valedictorian in 1943. Keith served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1943 – 1947. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Davison. Keith worked at General Motors “Chevy in the Hole” as a Receiving Clerk.
Keith is survived by his wife, June Stewart; daughters, Julie (Dennis) Dudzik and Susan (Barry) Shiflett; step-sons, Scott (Karen) Stewart, Mark (Rosemarie) Stewart and Kevin Stewart; step-daughter, Geaneen Stewart; four grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren.
