BERRY, Gene Lamar – Of Flint, age 72, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019
at Kith Haven Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel, 3415 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc.
Pastor Roger Cleeton officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Whaley Children’s Home.
Gene was born in Paragould, Arkansas on November 25, 1946, the son of the late Paul Lamar Berry and Nina Jewel Cupp and step-son of the late Cloyce Cupp. On November 12, 1976, he married Karen Gail Wagner and she preceded him in death in 2002. Gene was employed in janitorial services for the United States Postal Service for 25 years before retiring.
Surviving are brothers, Michael (Jeanne) Cupp and Wayne S. Cupp;
and one nephew and seven nieces; and many great nephews and nieces.
