Zissler, Maurice D. "Buck" - of Saginaw, age 82, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will take place at 6PM Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home - 1550 Midland Road in Saginaw. Chaplain Daniel Cannon officiating. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2PM until the time of the funeral.
Buck was born April 21, 1934 in Saginaw to the late Frederick and Gertrude (DePorter) Zissler. He married Marjorie Edwards on February 18, 1954. They shared 62 years together. She survives him.
Buck retired from General Motors in 1983 after 31 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to casinos. He was also an avid Detroit Tiger fan.
Buck is also survived by: Sons, David (Billie Jo) Zissler of Naples, Florida, and Daniel (Dawn) Zissler of Clifford, Michigan; Grandsons, Dennis, Scott, Brandon, and Daniel; and 6 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Dennis Frederick Zissler, and his daughter, Diane Lou Zissler.
