SABO, Virginia – of Davison,MI, age 87, passed away August 3, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 4 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday and 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for their wishes.
Virginia was born in Detroit, MI on March 9, 1927, daughter of the late John and Mary (Cwiakala) Guzek. She married Stephen Sabo Sr. on November 23, 1946 and he preceded her in death. Virginia was a lifetime member of the Davison VFW #4087 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, cooking authentic polish food and was the owner of Sabo’s Dairy Bar for 46 years.
Virginia is survived by her children, Stephen Sabo Jr., Donna (Marvin) Zimmerman, Judy Salgat, Joanne (Ronald) Talaski, Virginia Schultz, John (Dana) Sabo, Tonya (Robert Jr.) Horton, Joseph (Stephanie) Sabo; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeffrey; sons-in-law, Bob Schultz and Wilfred Salgat.
