SMITH, Diane M. – Of Linden, age 71, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Visitation 10 a.m. and Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Diane was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1943, the daughter of Donald and Mildred (Doran) Bond.
On August 3, 1968 she married Walter Smith in Detroit.
She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Surviving are husband, Walter;
son, Scott of Warren;
grandchildren, Harley, Danielle and Riley Ann Smith;
two sisters, Linda and husband Dave Mullins of Royal Oak,
Donna and husband Dwight Holien of Sterling Heights;
brother, Dan and wife Sharon Bond of Grand Blanc;
sister-in-law, Sylvia Bond of Texas;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Ashley and brother, Tom Bond.
