Conrad, Fredrick "Butch"- of St. Helen (formally from Davison, MI) passed away on August 7, 2020.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 10am-12pm at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Rd. Flint, MI
A private service will follow.
Butch was born on October 25,1941 in Burton, MI to Roy and Elsie Conrad. On August 26, 1965 he married the love of his life Gladys Hildred Hickman. Butch was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was avid in his grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives. He loved them all dearly. He served in the Army in Korea from 1961-1963 and was a Sharpshooter and Marksman. He worked for Truck and Bus in Flint where he retired. He loved to bowl, play horseshoes, and loved going to the casino. He enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-law Larry Miller.
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Hildred;
Daughters, Chris Twigg and Denise "DeDe" Coon (Dan);
Grandchildren, Tanya Simon (Rob), Mark Coon ll ( Suzie), Stacy Twigg,
Shanna Twigg, Joe Simon and Spencer Phaneuf;
Great Grandchildren, Nick Twigg, Mikalyn Coon and Matthew Coon;
Sister, Bev Lornger and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his children Kyle and Marsha Clifford, parents Roy and Elsie Conrad, brothers Donald and Roy "Coach" Conrad, Sisters Patricia Webb and Sandy Hale. Lifetime and good friend Ike Girardin.
He will be missed by many.
