PICKHOVER, Mildred Michaelene - Age 80, of Fenton, died Monday, June 3, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Pat Brady officiating. Burial immediately following at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post #3243 or to the Church On The Street, (COTS), Adoption Fund, 15113 Seymour Rd, Linden, MI 48451. Mildred was born February 2, 1933 in Highland Park, the daughter of Michael and Ora (Evans) Gonet. She married Benjamin "Ben" Arthur Pickhover November 3, 1950 in Detroit and he preceded her in death February 5, 2008. She has resided in Fenton for the past 50 years coming from Livonia. She was one of the founders of Cobra Wrestling in Fenton. Surviving are: 4 children, Linda Snider of Fenton, Guy and wife Kim Pickhover of Linden, Mike and wife Karen Pickhover of Fenton, and Blaine Pickhover of Fenton; 11 grandchildren, Amber, Autumn, Summer, Courtney, Ashley, Katie, Michael, Jenna, Jessie, Garrett, and Allison; 2 great grandchildren, Sarah Grace and Weston Michael; sister, Mary Cassel of Portage; several nieces and nephews.
