SIMERAU, Helen "Bettie" E. – of Davison, age 86, passed away April 1, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Friday at church. A Rosary will be prayed 6:30 PM on Thursday.
Bettie was born in Flint, MI on August 27, 1929, daughter of the late George and Anna (Olejar) Csvercsko. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. Bettie married William Simerau on September 11, 1947 and he preceded her in death in February of 1999. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and loved music, especially the piano, singing and dancing.
Bettie is survived by children, Darlene (Ken) Baldwin, Bill Simerau, Bob (Scherie) Simerau and Susie (Bob Fox) Trombley; grandchildren, Julie, Tiffany, Jerud, Billy, Nicole, Cameron, Tommy and Tiara; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and extended family members. She was preceded by daughter, Linda (Pete) Siggelko in 2015; six brothers and three sisters.
