BRAUTIGAN, Shirley Jean – of Clio, age 74, died Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Maple Woods Manor. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 31, 2025 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Rev. Carol J. Freeland officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Shirley was born March 11, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harvey and Helen (Kidd) Edmonds. She grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1969. Prior to her retirement, Shirley worked as a Lunch Aide with the Reese Public Schools. She was a member of the activities community at Maple Woods Manor. She enjoyed collecting owls, camping, cross word puzzles and was an avid reader. Shirley loved going shopping with her daughter.
Surviving are: Daughters, Shawn (Rob) Trumble, Shannon (Josh) Powenski; Grandchildren, Robert Trumble III, Ethan Trumble, Rhiannon Trumble, Clinton Powenski; Siblings, Duane Edmonds, Lorraine Edmonds, Constance Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Step Mother, Mary Edmonds; Siblings, Charlene Wiggers and Curt Wiggers.
